Great news for the energy enthusiasts as the last date of paper submission of ENCON23 has been extended to 23rd November, 2023. Authors can submit their extended abstract by this time through this website. Participants are guided to submit a two page (A4 size) abstract for further assessment.

In 2010, Prof. M. Rafiq pioneered an environmentally benign well-stimulation method, Plasma-Shockwave Technology, as a clean substitute for Acidizing and Hydraulic Fracking. A groundbreaking joint simulation by ExxonMobil and Sandia National Lab in 2015 validated the technology.

Associate Professor Dr. Ismail bin Mohd Saaid holds a distinguished position in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Malaysia. His expertise lies in reservoir fluids study, reservoir conformance control, and petroleum chemistry for oilfield scale mitigation

Prof. Prashanta Dutta received his MS (1997) and Ph.D. (2001) degrees from the University of South Carolina and Texas A&M University, respectively. He joined the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering of Washington State University (WSU) in 2001.

Professor Syed Mofizul Islam, currently the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) at Federation University Australia, is a distinguished researcher with a strong background in electrical engineering. Holding degrees from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

Dr. Rahman is an Associate Professor in the Petroleum Engineering Program at Texas A&M University – Qatar (TAMUQ). Before his appointment at TAMUQ, he was a faculty member at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and an Instructor at the University of Alberta, Canada. Dr. Rahman received his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Canada, in 2010.
